A Dream Sequence

I have an old crab apple tree in the field behind my house. It stands alone, bursting into bloom once a year for what seems like a minute. I captured the flowers in all of their glory so I can enjoy them every day. 

Why this is a favorite: I took this closeup, and finished it with a dreamy texture that adds to the dimension. It hangs in my entryway. I love the light, the soft blur and and the warm colors.
